PPP Research Foundation
PPP Research Foundation is a nonprofit organisation which has been established to promote scientific excellence, generate employment opportunities, competitiveness and work in partnership with the government and business and relgious community in advancing Internet development. The main aim is to create a Knowledge pool with the rich technical exposures and experience of the Author Trustees.
PPP Research Foundation new step from Information Technologists growing into a Research Foundation is also to promote Saiva Sidhantham(Hinduism) and tamil language all over the world. The Hindu sacred texts and books are perhaps the most ancient religious texts still surviving today. This foundation is to eventually develop and use internet technology to make available these books and sacred texts all over the world.

Atheenam ::
Arulthiru Namacivaya Moorthy is the founder of the Thiruvavaduthurai
Mutt. This Mutt was set up in the 14th century.
All the deeds commenced by him are being continued even today in spite of several
changes in society and administration. It is said when he planned the oven,
he desired that the fire placed on that day should continue for ever without
rekindling. The same fire continues even today, through a period of more than
500 years.
This Adheenam has seen 22 pontiffs and the present pontiff "His Holiness
Siva Prakasa Desikar Swamygal" is the 23rd in succession.
Objects & Activities
:
The Mutt maintains
14 big Temples, 15 small Temples and 20 endowments.
Erandan Kala Poojai (at 7p.m) in Arulmigu Sabanayagar Temple at Chidambaram
is performed daily by the Adheenam. This Adheenam meets the entire expenditure
relating to Mahabishekam to Arulmigu Nataraja during the Tamil month Masi every
year in Arulmigu Sabanayakar Temple in Chidambaram.
Ashta Pandana Marundhu, required during renovation of temples and performance
of kumbabhishekam is prepared and issued free of cost to temples according to
their needs.
Daily
poojais arc conducted in all other temples belonging to the Adheenam. It also
grants liberal donations in cash and kind to conduct daily poojas in various
small temples.
Persons
who desire to perform daily religious rituals are initiated by Guru Maha Sannidahanam.
Persons who renounce the worldly life and want to devote their services for
Saivaism are ordained as sanyasis and are maintained by the Mutt.
Thousands
are fed, and the places associated with the mutt have not seen famine inspite
of several famines these five Hundred Years. All spiritual, religious and cultural
traditions are being maintained with honour to this day.
Free food twice a day is offered at the Mutt to devotees, poor local children
and the employees of the Mutt.
Scholars,Poets
and Musicians are honoured and suitably rewarded.
Olaichuvadi and Many old Century Books :: Thiruvavaduthurai
Adheenam Saraswathi Mahal Library and Research Center is preserving many centuries
old manuscripts(Olaichuvadi) and printed books. The books currently available
ready for delivery are showcased(On Sale) in this website. A exhaustive list
of valuable books is available for download.
To facilitate the growith of Saiva Samayam religious books are printed and distributed
at cost price, at times free of cost.
To propogate Saivaism "Meikandar" a monthly periodical
is published by the Mutt.
A
daily dispensary is run and free medicines are distributed.
Free distribution of clothes is done every year.
Education
: This Adheenam owns
One Higher Secondary School & Two
Middle Schools.
Two primary
Schools & Three English Medium Primary Schools all run by the Mutt.
Freë books are distributed to the local children .
Gold medals are awarded to the students of Adheenam's Hr. Sec. School who secure
the highest marks in 12th & 10th std.
Free boarding and lodging to students in pappammal chatram at Thiruvannaikoil,Trichy.
